We have a very active Ladies Auxiliary that meets on the same night in
a separate meeting room at the Maroondah Masonic Centre,
The responsibility for the ladies programme is usually accepted by
the Masters wife/partner for putting together an interesting programme of
speakers, usually from outside organisations, craft projects, or members
travelling tales, finishing with supper and trading table.
The Ladies Auxiliary has committed to co-ordinate the programme that
has become known as "Baby Bundles". This service exists to provide a
box of new clothes for new born babies in need and toiletries for their
mothers. These packages are distributed via social workers through
accredited welfare agencies and hospitals throughout the eastern
suburbs. On average we have distributed 100 bundles per year for the
last eight years.
